Featured Artist, City View Magazine
June 24, 2011 in Art, Inspiration, Mixed Media, Painting, Visual Journal by Jeniffer
In the spring of 2010 I had the honor of being the featured artist in City View Magazine. The issue published just prior to the opening of my first solo art exhibition in my new home town. It highlights how creating my art work helped me through a tremendously difficult time in my life.
I wanted to make this available for you here since it is no longer featured on the magazine’s site. Hope you enjoy reading this part of my story.

I feel quite choked up with emotio! Such a moving article and insight into the Jeniffer I have only just got to know and who has become my friend. Such stunning, stunning artwork so overflowing with meaning and feeling. Many of us have dark times in our lives and I so wish I had known about journalling in my darkest hour. The painting of the figure in the trees was particularly full of hope as the figure moves out from the dark into the light. I’m glad we are both in the light together now and enjoying the bountiful inspiration and creativity that life offers.
Big hugs Christine & Thank you!
Awesome article!
